Ingredients
The following ingredients have 12 Servings
- 1 pound large shrimp (peeled and deveined, but tails on)
- 1 pound bacon ((regular thickness))
- ½ Teaspoon chili powder
- ½ Teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 Teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 Teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 Teaspoon black pepper
- ⅓ Cup bbq sauce
Instruction
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Line a jelly roll pan with foil and place a baking rack on top.
- Cut bacon in half lengthwise and place on rack so pieces are not touching. Bake for 10 minutes.
- Put chili powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt and pepper in a small bowl and stir to combine.
- Place shrimp in a medium bowl, sprinkle spices on and toss to coat.
- Remove bacon from oven and wrap the bacon around the shrimp, spiraling as you go up and ending right below tail.
- Return pan to oven and bake for 20 minutes or until bacon is crisp and shrimp is cooked.
- Remove from oven and brush shrimp with bbq sauce
- Remove shrimp from rack and place on tray . Serve immediately.
