Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 pound apple wood smoked bacon (8 slices)
  • 16 scallops
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 425°F.
  • Rinse your scallops under cold water. Pat the scallops dry with a paper towel and then remove any of the extra side muscle that might be on them.
  • Cut the bacon strips in half and wrap each scallop with 1/2 strip of bacon.
  • Skewer 5-6 bacon-wrapped scallops per skewer.
  • Sprinkle with smoked paprika, seasoning both sides.
  • Bake at 425°F for 10 minutes.
  • Flip the skewers over and bake for an additional 7-10 minutes.
  • Scallops are done cooking when they are opaque and tender.
