Ingredients
The following ingredients have 20 Servings
- squeeze fresh lemon
- 1 large avocado
- 40 raw King prawns (peeled)
- 10 rashers smoked bacon (halved)
- 5 TB olive oil
- 3 TB tamari ((gluten-free soy sauce))
- 2 cloves garlic (peeled and crushed)
- 2 limes (halved to serve)
- pink Himalayan salt
Instruction
- Squeeze a lemon over your chopped avocado, then wrap each avocado cube with a half rasher of bacon. Skewer a prawn onto a mini kebab stick, followed by the bacon-wrapped avocado, and then a second prawn.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, tamari and crushed garlic. Use a silicon pastry brush to baste the kebabs with the marinade and grill over the braai (BBQ) until the bacon has cooked sufficiently.
- Serve immediately with halved limes to generously squeeze over. Season with a little pink Himalayan salt.
