Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2.5 cups almond flour
  • ½ cup coconut flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 4 egg whites
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup butter or ghee – SOFTENED
  • 3 pieces bacon
  • 1 Tablespoon dried chives

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 375F. 
  • Combine dry ingredients (almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt) in a large bowl.
  • Add softened butter to dry ingredients and mix with hands until crumbly mixture forms.
  • In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form, about 3 minutes with an electric beater.
  • Add egg whites, eggs, bacon pieces, and dried chives to biscuit mixture. Mix until soft dough forms. 
  • Lay out pieces of dough on parchment paper and use a mason jar lid to cut biscuit shapes. Lay on parchment or silicone matt lined baking sheet.  Repeat until you have 8 biscuits. 
  • Brush biscuits with melted butter. 
  • Bake at 375F for 20 minutes.
