Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2.5 cups almond flour
- ½ cup coconut flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 4 egg whites
- 2 eggs
- ¼ cup butter or ghee – SOFTENED
- 3 pieces bacon
- 1 Tablespoon dried chives
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 375F.
- Combine dry ingredients (almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt) in a large bowl.
- Add softened butter to dry ingredients and mix with hands until crumbly mixture forms.
- In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form, about 3 minutes with an electric beater.
- Add egg whites, eggs, bacon pieces, and dried chives to biscuit mixture. Mix until soft dough forms.
- Lay out pieces of dough on parchment paper and use a mason jar lid to cut biscuit shapes. Lay on parchment or silicone matt lined baking sheet. Repeat until you have 8 biscuits.
- Brush biscuits with melted butter.
- Bake at 375F for 20 minutes.
