  • Ingredients
  • 1 lb. Ground beef
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • ½ tsp. smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp. garlic powder
  • ½ tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tbsp. liquid smoke
  • 6 strips bacon, cooked
  • 6 Sliced Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • Buns
  • Desired Toppings: lettuce, onions, tomatoes, pickles
  • For Sauce
  • 3 tbsp. mayo (heaping tablespoons)
  • 1 ½ tsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1 ½ tsp. Ketchup
  • 1 ½ tsp. pickle juice
  • 2 tsp. hot sauce (I used Chipotle Sauce)
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • ½ tsp. smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp. onion powder
  • ½ tsp. garlic powder

Instruction

  • In a med size to large bowl, add the ground beef and all of the spices including the liquid smoke. Use your hands to mix the ingredients. Form into a 1/3 pound (3 burgers) balls and flatten to hamburger patties that is about 1/2 inch-1 inch thick. Once the patties are formed, place on a prepared grill and cook on both sides for 5 minutes or until cooked to desired temperature. Remove from heat and immediately place two slices of cheese on top and cover with aluminum foil.
  • To make the sauce, add all ingredients in a small bowl (mayo, Dijon mustard, ketchup, pickle juice, hot sauce, honey, smoked paprika, onion and garlic powder) mix and serve on burgers. Assemble burgers as desired and enjoy.
