Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 25 baby corns
- 1/2 cup gram flour
- 1/2 cup rice flour
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper powder
- salt (to taste)
- oil (for deep frying)
- black salt (to serve)
- lemon slices (to serve)
Instruction
- Peel and rinse the babycorns well in water. Slit each babycorn into two vertically.
- Blanch the slit babycorns in salted water for 5-7 minutes. Drain thoroughly and set aside
- Heat oil for deep frying. While the oil is getting heated, take the blanched babycorns in a bowl.
- Add pepper powder, chili powder, gram flour, rice flour and required salt. Toss without adding water.
- Deep fry in hot oil in batches until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve with a sprinkling of black salt and lemon slices.
