Ingredients
The following ingredients have 6 Servings
- 3 large russet potatoes (* peeled and sliced about 1/4" thick)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 6 cloves garlic (* minced)
- 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese (* shredded)
- 3 slices bacon (* cooked and crumbled)
Instruction
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Spray a medium size baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Whisk together the heavy cream, milk, garlic, flour, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
- Place half of the potato slices into the bottom of your baking dish.
- Sprinkle on half of the shredded cheddar cheese and half of the crumbled bacon. Top with the remaining potato slices.
- Pour all of the cream mixture all over the tops of the potatoes.
- Cover tightly with foil and bake until the potatoes are tender, about 60 minutes.
- Once the potatoes are tender, remove the foil and add the remaining cheese and bacon.
- Bake for an additional 5-10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and just starting to brown.
