Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 1 T olive oil
  • 1 sweet onion (diced)
  • 2 stalks celery (diced)
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/8 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 C beef broth
  • 2 T cornstarch
  • 1/4 C hoisin sauce
  • 2 T soy sauce
  • 9 oz refrigerated Chinese noodles
  • 2 green onions (chopped)

Instruction

  • Heat 1 T oil in a skillet over medium high heat. Add turkey and cook until no longer pink. Remove turkey from pan and set aside.
  • Prepare noodles according to package.
  • Return pan to medium/high heat. If pan seems dry, add another T oil. Add onion and celery, cook just until beginning to soften, about 4 minutes. Add in the garlic, ginger paste, red pepper and cook another minute.
  • In a bowl whisk together the broth and cornstarch and add it to pan.
  • Stir in hoisin and soy sauce, cook 2-3 minutes, add ground turkey back to mixture.
  • Add noodles to mixture and toss well with tongs to incorporate.
  • Garnish with green onions before serving.
