Ingredients

The following ingredients have 1 Servings
  • 1/2 cup walnuts (halves or pieces)
  • 1 small garlic clove (minced)
  • 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 1/2 cups (2 1/2 oz) arugula
  • 1/4 cup (1/2 oz) loosely packed fresh basil leaves
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Maldon or other flaky or coarse salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper

Instruction

  • In a dry skillet over medium-low heat, toast the walnuts until golden brown, stirring constantly, 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Transfer to a plate and let cool slightly.
  • In a food processor, combine all the ingredients and blend until you’re happy with the consistency.
  • Taste and season with more salt and pepper, if desired.
