Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 15 ounce can chickpeas (rinsed and drained)
  • 2 TBSP lemon juice
  • 1 TBSP olive oil
  • 2 TBSP water
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup artichoke hearts

Instruction

  • Add sesame seeds to the bowl of a food processor. Process until they turn into a butter.
  • Add chickpeas, lemon juice, olive oil, water, salt, and cayenne pepper. Process until completely smooth. You may need to add extra water to help blend.
  • Add artichoke hearts and process until smooth. Taste and add seasoning if needed. Serve with sliced veggies and/or whole grain crackers
