Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 12 chicken drumstick
  • 1 cup plain flour to coat
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper diced
  • 500 g bacon rashers diced
  • 1 onion diced large
  • 2 tomato diced fresh
  • 420 g canned mushroom
  • 840 g apricot juice
  • 90 g French onion soup mix

Instruction

  • Coat chicken drumsticks in seasoned flour and shallow fry until lightly browned.
  • Put chicken drumsticks in a large baking dish. Sprinkle over diced bacon, onion and champignons or mushrooms.
  • Combine apricot nectar, tomatoes and French Onion soup and pour over the chicken drumsticks.
  • Bake at 180C for about 1½ hours, turning chicken halfway through.
