Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2 medium baking apples, cored peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 Teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • 3 Tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup apple juice
  • 1/2 Teaspoon cornstarch
  • vanilla ice cream

Instruction

  • Place a large skillet on the stove under medium heat.Place the apples, butter and ginger in the skillet. Cook the apples until tender, about 3 minutes. Stir the brown sugar in to the apple mixture. Place the apple juice and corn starch in a small bowl, stir the ingredients until well combined. and add them to the skillet with the apples. Cook and stir the ingredients until they are thick and bubbly, continue to cook and stir 2 more minutes. Remove the skillet from the stove and let the ingredients cool slightly before using them. Refrigerate any leftover apple mixture.
