Ingredients

The following ingredients have 6 Servings
  • 1 cup (110 grams) all purpose flour
  • ¾ teaspoon baking powder
  • a pinch of salt
  • ¼ cup (60ml) vegetable oil
  • 5½ tablespoons (85 grams) plain yogurt
  • ½ tablespoon cold water
  • ½ tablespoon apple vinegar
  • 2 apples
  • 2 plums
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 egg (beaten)

Instruction

  • Sift together flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl.
  • Add oil, yogurt, vinegar and mix together.
  • Knead the mixture and form an elastic dough ball.
  • Cover with a damp cloth, and let the dough sit for half an hour.
  • To make the filling: Cut the plums and apples, remove the seeds and cut into cubes, or slices. Add cinnamon and sugar and mix.
  • Lightly flour your work surface, and roll out the dough into a 2-3mm thick round disc.
  • Fold dough over and pinch to enclose filling.
  • Transfer to your baking sheet. Brush crust with egg wash and bake at 410°F/210°C for 30 minutes.
