Ingredients

The following ingredients have 10 Servings
  • 1 Cup Bob's Red Mill Gluten-Free All Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 Cup Gluten-Free Oat Flour
  • 1/2 Cup Quinoa Flakes
  • 2 Tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 Psyllium Husk Egg (1 TB power + 3 TB water)
  • 1/2 Cup + 1/4 Cup Homemade Applesauce
  • 1 Cup Unsweetened Almond Milk (or non-dairy milk of choice)
  • 1/2 TspPure Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 Tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/4 Tsp Allspice

Instruction

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except 1/4 cup of the applesauce. Add the mixed psyllium egg last and begin stirring the batter immediately.
  • In a well-greased bread pan (9x5), pour the batter in and smooth evenly throughout.
  • Take the 1/4 cup of reserved applesauce and pour it in a line down the middle of the loaf. Use a knife to swirl it into the batter a bit.
  • Bake the loaf for 40 minutes, allow it to cool on a wire rack. Enjoy at room temperature, warm, cold, but can also freeze well when sliced.
