Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1/2 cup oats, (rolled oats or quick oats, certified gluten-free if necessary)
- 2 cups milk, (unsweetened plant-based, like almond, oat or cashew milk)
- 2 tbsp peanut butter or almond butter
- 1 large apple (cored, but not peeled)
- 1 tbsp hemp hearts
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract, (optional)
- 2 tbsp maple syrup or more if your apple isn't sweet, (or use Lacanto Monkfruit sweetener)
- 3-4 ice cubes
Instruction
- Core the apple and slice the flesh into chunks.
- If using a high-speed blender, add all ingredients to the blender container and process until smooth.
- If using a regular blender, blend the oats first, then add the remaining ingredients. Serve immediately.
