Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1/2 cup oats, (rolled oats or quick oats, certified gluten-free if necessary)
  • 2 cups milk, (unsweetened plant-based, like almond, oat or cashew milk)
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter or almond butter
  • 1 large apple (cored, but not peeled)
  • 1 tbsp hemp hearts
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract, (optional)
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup or more if your apple isn't sweet, (or use Lacanto Monkfruit sweetener)
  • 3-4 ice cubes

Instruction

  • Core the apple and slice the flesh into chunks.
  • If using a high-speed blender, add all ingredients to the blender container and process until smooth.
  • If using a regular blender, blend the oats first, then add the remaining ingredients. Serve immediately.
