Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 8 cups cubed French bread
- 3 apples (peeled, cored, and diced small)
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 3/4 cup milk (divided)
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup raisins
- 5 eggs (beaten)
Instruction
- Spray the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish with nonstick spray.
- Spread half of bread cubes and apples in dish.
- In a medium bowl, beat together cream cheese, brown sugar, white sugar, 1/4 cup milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Stir in raisins.
- Spread over bread cubes and apples in dish.
- Top with remaining bread cubes and apples.
- Beat together eggs, and remaining 1 1/2 cups milk and pour evenly over casserole.
- Allow to sit for 10 minutes to allow bread to soak up egg mixture.
- Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake an additional 5-10 minutes or until egg is set in center. Serve warm.
