Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 8 cups cubed French bread
  • 3 apples (peeled, cored, and diced small)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 3/4 cup milk (divided)
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 5 eggs (beaten)

Instruction

  • Spray the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish with nonstick spray.
  • Spread half of bread cubes and apples in dish.
  • In a medium bowl, beat together cream cheese, brown sugar, white sugar, 1/4 cup milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Stir in raisins.
  • Spread over bread cubes and apples in dish.
  • Top with remaining bread cubes and apples.
  • Beat together eggs, and remaining 1 1/2 cups milk and pour evenly over casserole.
  • Allow to sit for 10 minutes to allow bread to soak up egg mixture.
  • Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
  • Remove foil and bake an additional 5-10 minutes or until egg is set in center. Serve warm.
