Ingredients
The following ingredients have 24 Servings
- 15 oz yellow cake mix
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup apple juice
- 1/2 cup applesauce
- 3 eggs
- 1 apple (peeled, cored, and chopped fine (or shredded))
- 1 cup butter (softened)
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 cup caramel ice cream topping
Instruction
- In a large mixing bowl, stir together cake mix, cinnamon, and allspice.
- Add in water, apple juice, applesauce, and eggs and beat with an electric mixer until well combined.
- Gently stir in chopped apple.
- Divide evenly among 24 lined muffin tins.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until a cake tester comes out clean.
- Cool completely.
- For the frosting, beat butter until fluffy.
- Add in powdered sugar one cup at a time while beating.
- Beat in milk, vanilla, and cinnamon and blend until fluffy.
- Frost cupcakes as desired. Garnish each with a drizzle with caramel.
