Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup regular oats
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 5 Tablespoons butter, cut into pieces
- 5 large apples (peeled and cut into 1/2 inch pieces)
- 1 cup cranberries (fresh or frozen)
- 3/4-1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3 Tablespoons all purpose flour
Instruction
- Spray or butter a 10 inch cast iron skillet (or casserole dish).
- In a medium bowl, stir together 1/2 cup flour, oats, cinnamon, brown sugar and salt.
- Add butter and cut in with pastry blender. Set aside.
- Combine apples, cranberries, sugar, remaining cinnamon and flour and pour into skillet.
- Sprinkle with topping and bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes or until topping is browned.
- Let cool for 20-30 minutes. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
