Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup celery (chopped)
- 1/2 cup vidalia onion (finely chopped)
- 3 apples (cubed)
- 1 sprig rosemary (chopped)
- 1 teaspoon poultry spice mix
- 1 tablespoon chicken bouillon
- 2 cups cranberries
- 4 cups Hawaiian bread crumbs (12 ounces)
- 1 can chicken broth (14.5 ounces)
- 1 cup water (or less )
Instruction
- Chop and prep the ingredients and set the cast iron braiser in the stove. Add the butter and melt. Then sautee the onion and the celery.
- Add the cubed apples and the fresh rosemary. Continue sauteing and season with the chicken bouillon and the poultry seasoning mix of your choice.
- Add the fresh cranberries and the Hawaiian bread crumbs. Combine and finish adding the chicken broth and water as needed.
- Add a few pieces of butter and cook inside the oven for 15-20 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit until the stuffing turns golden brown.
- Serve the stuffing alongside gravy and your choice of turkey, chicken, ham or pork.
