Ingredients

The following ingredients have 12 Servings
  • 2 cups self-raising flour
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup tinned pie apples (chopped)

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan-forced). In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, cinnamon and salt.
  • In a jug, combine the egg, milk, vanilla and oil. Add to dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold through pie apples.
  • Line a 12-cup muffin tray with patty pan papers. Using a 1/3 cup measure, fill each muffin cup.
  • Bake for 22-25 minutes until golden. Leave to cool in the tray for 5 minutes then transfer to a wire rack.
