Ingredients

The following ingredients have 8 Servings
  • ½ cup cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon (divided)
  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/8 tsp allspice
  • 8 oz crescent roll dough (8 count can)
  • 1 cup apples (diced)

Instruction

  • Preheat the oven to 375° F.
  • In a small bowl whip together the cream cheese, brown sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and allspice.
  • Roll the crescent roll dough out and press the perforations together, then slice the dough into 8 squares.
  • Top each square with a spoonful of the cinnamon cream cheese mixture.
  • Toss the apples with the additional teaspoon of cinnamon.
  • Divide the apples between the pastries.
  • Fold the corners of each square into the middle of the pastry and place on a baking sheet or stone.
  • Place in the oven and bake for 12-14 minutes, or until golden brown.
