Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups butter (softened)
  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1/2 - 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Dash of salt

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease a bundt pan.
  • In the bowl of your stand mixer, beat together the sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, until well combined.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the dry ingredients.
  • Combine the cider and vanilla.
  • Add dry ingredients alternately with the cider and mix until well blended.
  • Pour into the greased bundt pan and bake for 70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Cool for 20 minutes in the pan before removing to a cake stand or plate. Cool completely before icing.
