Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1/4 cup(s) butter, unsalted
  • 1 cup(s) packed brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 3/4 cup(s) quick oats
  • 1/2 cup(s) raisins
  • 1 cup(s) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) baking powder
  • 2 tablespoon(s) milk
  • 1/2 cup(s) small diced apples (Granny Apple preferred)
  • 1/2 cup(s) apple butter

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl cream butter and sugar just till combined. Do not overmix or go over 40 seconds with a mixer.
  • Beat in apple butter, eggs, and oats.
  • Mix dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the creamed mixture along with the milk.
  • Stir in apples and raisins.
  • Chill dough for at least 20 minutes in refrigerator.
  • Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 15 to 17 minutes. Cool on the sheet for a few minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool.
