Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1/4 cup(s) butter, unsalted
- 1 cup(s) packed brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 3/4 cup(s) quick oats
- 1/2 cup(s) raisins
- 1 cup(s) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) baking powder
- 2 tablespoon(s) milk
- 1/2 cup(s) small diced apples (Granny Apple preferred)
- 1/2 cup(s) apple butter
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl cream butter and sugar just till combined. Do not overmix or go over 40 seconds with a mixer.
- Beat in apple butter, eggs, and oats.
- Mix dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the creamed mixture along with the milk.
- Stir in apples and raisins.
- Chill dough for at least 20 minutes in refrigerator.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet.
- Bake for 15 to 17 minutes. Cool on the sheet for a few minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool.
