  • 1 cup ketchup (or ketchup-like chili sauce for a little extra flavor)
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (more to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (more to taste)
