Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 onion (finely sliced)
- 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 2 to matoes (finely chopped)
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 4 potatoes (medium sized, peeled and cubed)
- 2 cups fresh / frozen peas
- salt to taste
Instruction
- Heat oil in a pan or pressure cooker. Fry onion till translucent.
- Add the ginger garlic paste and fry till the raw smell vanishes from it.
- Throw in the tomatoes and cook till soft and pulpy.
- Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and add some water to prevent burning the masala.
- Stir and add potatoes. Add water and cook till the potatoes are almost done.
- Add in the peas and cook till they are done. The peas get cooked very fast. If you are using pressure cooker, use it only for cooking potatoes.
- Mix in the salt and serve hot with roti or rice.
