- 5 Yams

- 1 cup Splenda
- 1/2 Cup Half and Half
- 2 Eggs
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 tsp Ground Nutmeg

- Preheat your oven to 350 and have your sugar free pie crust recipes here. prepared and ready to go.
- To prepare fresh yams, first pierce your yams four times each with a fork. Microwave on high, for eight minutes.turning the yams over midway. The yams will be hot when you remove them from the microwave so use gloves, mitts, or a towel to hold them as you cut them open and then scoop the flesh from . Discard the skins.
- Transfer the yam flesh to a mixing bowl and blend with the melted butter.Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl and mix on medium until mixed. Then pour the mix into your pie crust.
- Bake this for 10 minutes on 350 and then decrease the temperature to 325 for 35-40 minutes or until the pie is set. Cool on a rack for at least 1 hour before serving
