Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 5 Yams
  • 1/2 cup Butter (melted)
  • 1 cup Splenda
  • 1/2 Cup Half and Half
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon

Instruction

  • Preheat your oven to 350 and have your sugar free pie crust recipes here. prepared and ready to go.
  • To prepare fresh yams, first pierce your yams four times each with a fork. Microwave on high,  for eight minutes.turning the yams over midway. The yams will be hot when you remove them from the microwave so use gloves, mitts, or a towel to hold them as you cut them open and then scoop the flesh from . Discard the skins.
  • Transfer the yam flesh to a mixing bowl and blend with the melted butter.Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl and mix on medium until mixed. Then pour the mix into your pie crust.
  • Bake this for 10 minutes on 350 and then decrease the temperature to 325 for 35-40 minutes or until the pie is set. Cool on a rack for at least 1 hour before serving
