Ingredients

The following ingredients have 24 Servings
  • 4 oz. Baker’s unsweetened chocolate (melted)
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tsp. real vanilla extract (not imitation)
  • 1 cup Gold Medal UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour (bleached flour toughens baked goods)
  • 2 cups almonds (chopped or sliced, divided use)

Instruction

  • Melt chocolate over low heat in small saucepan and set aside.
  • Mix butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla with an electric mixer until smooth.
  • Add chocolate and mix again.
  • Stir in flour and 1 cup of almonds until combined.
  • Spray a 9x13” glass baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Pour brownie mixture into prepared pan.
  • Sprinkle remaining cup of almonds over top.
  • Bake at 325° 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
