Ingredients
The following ingredients have 24 Servings
- 4 oz. Baker’s unsweetened chocolate (melted)
- 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tsp. real vanilla extract (not imitation)
- 1 cup Gold Medal UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour (bleached flour toughens baked goods)
- 2 cups almonds (chopped or sliced, divided use)
Instruction
- Melt chocolate over low heat in small saucepan and set aside.
- Mix butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla with an electric mixer until smooth.
- Add chocolate and mix again.
- Stir in flour and 1 cup of almonds until combined.
- Spray a 9x13” glass baking dish with cooking spray.
- Pour brownie mixture into prepared pan.
- Sprinkle remaining cup of almonds over top.
- Bake at 325° 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
