Ingredients
The following ingredients have 6 Servings
- 3 cup(s) fresh lump crabmeat
- 4 tablespoon(s) butter, unsalted
- 1/2 cup(s) celery, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup(s) bell pepper, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup(s) onion, finely chopped
- 3/4 cup(s) cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup(s) clam juice
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) hot pepper sauce
- 3 teaspoon(s) dry mustard, i prefer coleman's
- 1 teaspoon(s) worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoon(s) dry sherry
- 4 large eggs
- - butter, melted for brushing top of casserole
Instruction
- Saute` celery, onion and bell pepper in butter. Add cracker crumbs, milk, clam juice, salt, pepper sauce, mustard and Worcestershire sauce.
- Cook until thick. Remove from heat and beat in eggs and sherry.
- Add crabmeat and pour into a buttered casserole dish or individual ramekins. Brush with melted butter and bake for 10-12 minutes in a 400-degree oven.
