Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 3-pound Whole Chicken*
- 4 Tablespoons Neutral Oil (canola, grapeseed, or safflower oil)
- 1 Tablespoon Dried Sage
- 1 Tablespoon Dried Oregano
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 2 teaspoons Table Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
Instruction
- Begin the recipe by patting the whole chicken dry.
- In a small mixing bowl mix together oil, dried sage, dried oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, table salt and black pepper.
- Rub or brush the marinade over the whole chicken, ensuring that every part of the chicken is covered including the inside of the chicken.
- Preheat the air fryer on 360° F for 5 minutes.
- Place the marinated chicken into the Air Fryer on 360° F for 40 minutes, breast side down. After 40 minutes, turn the whole chicken carefully and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
- After 50 minutes take the whole chicken out of the air fryer and check that the internal temperature of the meat is 165° F. Take the temperature in thickest part of the breast, and at the thickest part where the drumstick and thigh meet the breast.
- Let the chicken rest about 5 minutes before cutting. Serve hot.
