Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 14 oz (400g) white beans (rinsed and drained ( I used cannellini beans))
  • 2/3 cup (65g) oats
  • 1/4 cup (15g) fresh cilantro (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 small onion (grated or very finely diced )
  • 1/2 bell pepper, deseeded (preferably grated or very finely diced )
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 3 Tablespoon sriracha sauce (or tomato sauce)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning (or oregano)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • sea salt to taste

Instruction

  • Mash the beans in a mixing bowl.
  • Add in oats, cilantro, onion, bell pepper, lemon juice, sriracha sauce (or tomato sauce), herbs and spices and mix together.
  • Divide and shape into 4 patties.
  • Preheat Air Fryer to 350F/180C. Place patties in the basket, spray with olive oil or cooking spray and cook for 9-10 minutes flipping halfway through.
  • Create burgers with buns, patties and then desired toppings.
