Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2 cups Dill Pickle Slices
  • ½ cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Cornstarch
  • 1 large Egg
  • ½ cup Panko Breadcrumbs
  • 2 teaspoons Italian Seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • Salt and Pepper, (to taste)

Instruction

  • Drain the pickles and let them dry on a towel. Pat both sides dry.
  • In a small bowl, mix the flour and cornstarch and set aside.
  • In another bowl, whisk an egg and set aside.
  • In another bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Dip the pickles into the flour, followed by egg, then the panko breadcrumb mixture.
  • Place each coated pickle in an air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry at 400° F for 8 to 10 minutes, until golden brown. Optional: Halfway through cooking, open the air fryer and spritz some oil on the pickles. Then continue cooking. This will help them get a little crispier.
  • Serve hot with mayonnaise, ranch, or other dip.
