Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2 cups Dill Pickle Slices
- ½ cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Cornstarch
- 1 large Egg
- ½ cup Panko Breadcrumbs
- 2 teaspoons Italian Seasoning
- ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
- Salt and Pepper, (to taste)
Instruction
- Drain the pickles and let them dry on a towel. Pat both sides dry.
- In a small bowl, mix the flour and cornstarch and set aside.
- In another bowl, whisk an egg and set aside.
- In another bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dip the pickles into the flour, followed by egg, then the panko breadcrumb mixture.
- Place each coated pickle in an air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry at 400° F for 8 to 10 minutes, until golden brown. Optional: Halfway through cooking, open the air fryer and spritz some oil on the pickles. Then continue cooking. This will help them get a little crispier.
- Serve hot with mayonnaise, ranch, or other dip.
