Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice ((1/2 lemon))
  • 2 teaspoons lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 pound chicken wings
  • Fresh parsley or cilantro (finely chopped, for garnish)

Instruction

  • Whisk the olive oil, lemon juice, lemon pepper, dried basil, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder together in a bowl.
  • Pour the marinade into a gallon-size Ziploc bag and add in the chicken wings. Seal the bag and rub the marinade all over the wings. Marinate for at least 1 hour to overnight in the fridge.
  • Preheat the air fryer and basket to 400 degrees F and Line the bottom and sides of the air fryer basket with aluminum foil to create a bowl. (Add the aluminum foil after the air fryer has been preheated, but be careful as it will be hot!)
  • Pour everything in the Ziploc bag into the makeshift foil bowl and cook for 15 minutes. Then flip over wings and cook for another 8 minutes.
  • Once the chicken’s internal temperature has reached 165 degrees F, remove the wings from the air fryer.  Serve warm sprinkled with chopped parsley or cilantro if desired.
