Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 cup buttermilk (divided use)
  • 1 pound fresh shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups panko bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon sriracha sauce
  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce

Instruction

  • Let shrimp soak in half a cup of buttermilk for at least 4 hours before cooking.
  • Create a station for breading the shrimp. Put flour and pepper in one bowl, half a cup of buttermilk in another, and panko bread crumbs in the last bowl. 
  • Dip shrimp in flour. Then, dip in buttermilk. Then finally dip in panko bread crumbs until evenly coated.
  • Spray air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray. Place shrimp in basket and spray shrimp with cooking spray.
  • Set to 390F degrees for 5 minutes. Flip, spray with cooking spray and cook for 5 more minutes.
  • Create bang bang sauce by mixing sriracha, mayo, and sweet chili sauce. Gently toss shrimp in sauce.
  • Garnish with cilantro (optional) and enjoy!
