Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1/2 cup mayo (or light mayo)
  • 1/3 cup sweet Thai chili sauce
  • 2 Tbsps Sriracha (more or less depending on spice preference)
  • 1 pound jumbo shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • kosher salt, pepper
  • 1 egg
  • olive oil cooking spray (I used Pam olive oil spray)
  • Optional: green onions for garnish

Instruction

  • In a small bowl whisk together the mayo, sweet Thai chili sauce, and Sriracha to make the Bang Bang Sauce.
  • Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels.
  • Put the flour in a small bowl and season with kosher salt and pepper. Beat the egg in a separate bowl.
  • Dip each shrimp in the egg and then coat with the flour. Place the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray the olive oil cooking spray over top of the shrimp.
  • Set the air fryer to 390 degrees for 12 minutes, shake the basket halfway through cooking.
  • Remove the shrimp from the basket and toss it in a bowl with some of the bang bang sauce. Serve with the remaining bang bang sauce on the side and garnish with green onions if desired.
