Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 cups water
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
Instruction
- In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 10 minutes. In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Add in yeast mixture and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead dough on a floured surface until smooth. Place into a large greased bowl, cover and let rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours. Deflate dough and divide into 10 equal sized pieces. Poke a hole through each piece and shape into a bagel.
- Preheat air-fryer to 350 F. Heat water and baking soda in a large saucepan over medium heat. Boil bagels in batches for about 20 seconds per batch. Air fry bagels in batches for 10 minutes.
