Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1/2 pound sugar snap peas (about 250g steamed to your liking)
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper powder or to taste
  • 1/4 cup bacon bits (finely chopped )
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs

Instruction

  • Line the fryer basket with a grill mat or a lightly greased aluminum foil.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the egg, onion powder, and white pepper powder.
  • Put the snap peas in the bowl and mix with the egg mixture.
  • Using a slotted spoon to scoop up snap peas from the bowl, shaking off excess egg mixture, and transfer them to a Ziploc bag.
  • Put the bread crumbs and bacon bits into the bag. Seal the bag up and shake to coat the snap peas with bread crumbs.
  • Put the snap peas in the fryer basket without stacking. Air fry at 400F (200C) for 6-8 minutes until breadcrumbs look crisp and golden brown.
