Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 lb asparagus
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- 1 Tablespoon cornmeal
- 1 Tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning or parsley or oregano
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instruction
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F. Wash and dry asparagus thoroughly and snip off woody stems.
- Toss the asparagus with olive oil, being sure to coat the tips thoroughly. Season with salt, and pepper and place in the air fryer basket.
- If you are adding the optional parmesan crust, combine the olive oil, cornmeal, parmesan cheese, dried herbs, salt, and pepper in a small bowl, and toss with a fork to mix thoroughly. Sprinkle the crust mixture evenly over the asparagus.
- Cook in the air fryer at 400°F for 7-10 minutes, or until tender and roasted. Time will depend on thickness of the asparagus and your desired doneness.
