Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 lb asparagus
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon cornmeal
  • 1 Tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning or parsley or oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instruction

  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F. Wash and dry asparagus thoroughly and snip off woody stems.
  • Toss the asparagus with olive oil, being sure to coat the tips thoroughly. Season with salt, and pepper and place in the air fryer basket.
  • If you are adding the optional parmesan crust, combine the olive oil, cornmeal, parmesan cheese, dried herbs, salt, and pepper in a small bowl, and toss with a fork to mix thoroughly. Sprinkle the crust mixture evenly over the asparagus.
  • Cook in the air fryer at 400°F for 7-10 minutes, or until tender and roasted. Time will depend on thickness of the asparagus and your desired doneness.
