Ingredients
The following ingredients have 7 Servings
- 1 (15-ounce) can chickpeas, drained
- 2 medium, ripe avocados, cored and peeled
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/8 tsp cumin
Instruction
- Combine chickpeas, avocados, olive oil, tahini, lime juice, garlic, fresh cilantro if using, and cumin in the bowl of a food processor; season with salt and blend until smooth. About 2 minutes.
- Transfer hummus to a bowl and garnish with fresh cilantro, red pepper flakes and drizzle with olive oil. Serve with pita or tortilla chips.
