Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 16 oz refried beans
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup salsa con queso
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 1 cup Monterey jack cheese (shredded)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Tortilla chips

Instruction

  • Preheat the oven to 350F
  • In a small saucepan, heat the refried beans over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, stirring often
  • Meanwhile, in a medium skillet, brown the ground beef with onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper then drain
  • Place the refried beans in the bottom of an 8x8 baking dish
  • Top the refried beans with the queso
  • Layer the ground beef over the queso
  • Spread the cheddar and Monterey jack cheeses on top of the ground beef
  • Bake for about 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted
  • Place the sour cream in a dollop on the center of the dish and serve warm with tortilla chips
