Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 pound turkey meatballs
- 1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple with juice
- 1/2 cup thick teriyaki basting sauce
- 1-1/2 tablespoons instant tapioca, for thickening
- 1 green bell pepper chopped (about 3/4 cup)
Instruction
- Ideal slow cooker size: 2- to 4-Quart.
- Put the meatballs in the slow cooker.
- Combine the pineapple with its juice, teriyaki basting sauce and tapioca. Pour over the meatballs.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours, or on high 3 to 4 hours.
- Add the green pepper. Stir well and cooked covered on HIGH for 20 minutes.
- If the sauce is too thick, stir in a little water to achieve the desired consistency.
