Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 pound turkey meatballs
  • 1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple with juice
  • 1/2 cup thick teriyaki basting sauce
  • 1-1/2 tablespoons instant tapioca, for thickening
  • 1 green bell pepper chopped (about 3/4 cup)

Instruction

  • Ideal slow cooker size: 2- to 4-Quart.
  • Put the meatballs in the slow cooker.
  • Combine the pineapple with its juice, teriyaki basting sauce and tapioca. Pour over the meatballs.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours, or on high 3 to 4 hours.
  • Add the green pepper. Stir well and cooked covered on HIGH for 20 minutes.
  • If the sauce is too thick, stir in a little water to achieve the desired consistency.
