Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 cup coconut oil (200 grams)
- 3 cups shredded unsweetened coconut
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup (can substitute for agave or golden syrup)
- 1 cup chocolate chips of choice (I used enjoy life mini chips)
Instruction
- Line a loaf pan or 8 x 8 baking dish with parchment paper and set aside.
- Add your shredded coconut in a large mixing bowl and set aside. In a microwave safe bowl or stovetop, melt your coconut oil. Pour over the shredded coconut and add the pure maple syrup. Mix very well.
- Pour the coconut mixture into the lined baking dish and refrigerate for an hour, or until firm. Once firm, melt your chocolate of choice and pour over the coconut bar. Refrigerate until chocolate has firmed up. Cut into bars and enjoy!
