- 10 to 12 plum tomatoes
- sliced in half
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken stock
- Salt and pepper
- to taste
Instruction
- In a slow cooker, add the tomatoes, chicken stock, salt and pepper
- Set on high for 6 hours or low for 8 hours with the lid ajar
- Using an immersion blender, blend the contents of the slow cooker
