Ingredients

The following ingredients have 10 Servings
  • 1/2 cup walnuts (diced)
  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats (not instant)
  • 1 tablespoon virgin coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey (raw preferred)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • kosher or sea salt (pinch)

Instruction

  • In a medium skillet over medium-low heat, add diced nuts and oats. Toast for 4 minutes, stirring frequently, until the oats are golden and the nuts are fragrant, but not burnt. Add oil, honey, vanilla, and salt, mix well to coat the oats. Cook 1 additional minute while string.
  • Remove from the heat and spread on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Allow to cool completely before adding to an airtight container.
